About this site

This website is designed to introduce those interested to the religions of the world that I know enough about to teach others.

These religions include: Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Shintoism, Sikhism, and Taoism.

All of these religions are Eastern religions. Christianity, Islam, and Judaism are considered by most  to be Western religions, but I consider them Eastern because their points of origin are in the East.

This site will introduce the main facets of each religion, with varying levels of amount of information depending on how much I know. There will be images of important places and people for each religion, as well as a list of important holidays and their significance.

I hope you enjoy the site and learn a lot about eleven religions of the world.

It is recommended that one read the articles in order alphabetically as there will be some references to the first religions in some of the other categories (i.e., references to Buddhism in the section on Hinduism).
